License Assignment and Access Management
After a user has been created and linked in SAP Business One, administrators use the WMS+ Admin Panel to confirm that the user is active, licensed and ready to log in. This page outlines how to verify WMS+ user visibility, confirm license status, and complete security configuration, including two-factor authentication (2FA).
Licenses define who can access WMS+ modules, including the Mobile App, Admin Panel and Label Watcher. The license assignment process is covered in detail on the Managing WMS+ User Licenses and SAP Business One Authorizations page.
General Workflow
Verify user visibility
Navigation Pathway:
WMS+ Admin Panel → Common Configuration → License Management
Confirm that the new user created in SAP Business One appears in the list.
Only users marked with [SEM] Is SEM User = Yes, and active SAP records are shown.
Check license allocation
Review the user’s module license assignment.
If the user does not appear or the assignment is blank, check the SAP record in OUSR to confirm that UDFs are correctly set and the record is active.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Two-factor authentication (2FA) applies only to the WMS+ Admin Panel, not to the mobile application. It provides additional security for administrator logins by requiring both the SAP Business One password and a one-time code from an authenticator app.
When 2FA is enabled, users must enter both their SAP Business One password and a one-time code from an authenticator app during login.
In SAP Business One, the [SEM] Admin 2FA Secret field appears on the User Defined Fields (UDF) panel of the OUSR table. The field remains empty until 2FA setup is completed in WMS+.
During initial setup:
WMS+ displays a QR code and setup key that the user scans or enters in an authenticator app.
Once registration is complete, the user can verify the code and log in with two-factor authentication.
Summary
License and access control in WMS+ depend on correct synchronization between SAP Business One and the WMS+ Admin Panel.
Once a user is visible in License Management and 2FA is configured (if required), the account is ready for secure access to the WMS+ Admin Panel.
